YouthREX

In December 2014, the Ministry of Child & Youth Services announced funding for the YouthREX project. We closed the Northeastern Ontario hub in July 2019 as funding for this project is coming to an end.

The purpose of YouthREX was to provide capacity building, knowledge mobilization, and evaluation supports for the youth sector in Ontario.

YouthREX is based at York University School of Social Work with Hubs located throughout Ontario. I was the Academic Director for the Northeastern Ontario Hub. Please see http://www.youthrex.com for information about YouthREX and check our the free resources!

We hosted regular webinars, youth worker cafes, knowledge mobilization events, and provided evaluation supports to grassroots groups and services.
